Fun with cousins!

Ever since Ellie started crawling the stairs have been an area of wonder for her. She would always crawl over and try to get up them. The furthest she ever got was to the third stair...until her cousin Libby came over and showed her how it was done! El followed Libby right up the stairs like she'd done it a million times before.

After climbing the stairs the little girls went out to the park.

Ellie LOVES to be outside! When you combine outside and toys together she is in heaven!

Libby loved going down the slide.

Ellie also liked going down the slide but she seemed really determined to climb UP it too! Once I introduced her to going down the slide she can't get enough. If she sees a park she'll point and jabber away as if she saying, "Mom, can we go? Will you take me down the slide?" I now find myself changing our walking path to avoid going past parks because sometimes seeing a slide and not playing on it results in tears!

Several weeks ago Ellie went for her first ride in the bike chariot. She seemed a little uncertain about what was happening as we strapped her in.

Once we were going (on a tandem bike by the way...talk about a LONG load) she seemed to enjoy it.

Then cousin Street joined in on the bike chariot fun.

Apparently Ellie finds Street a bit of a bore! He put her right to sleep! ;-)
